TypeScript Developer

Contract | 6 months initial (likely to extend)
Location: Remote with occasional travel to London
Rate: Up to £475 per day Outside IR35
Clearance: SC Clearance

I'm currently recruiting for a TypeScript Developer to join a specialist consultancy delivering secure technology solutions for a government client.

You'll work as part of a development team building and supporting modern, secure applications, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software within a public sector environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain applications using TypeScript
  • Build robust, scalable, and secure software solutions
  • Work collaboratively with developers, testers, architects, and wider technical teams
  • Contribute to the full software development lifecycle
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues
  • Follow Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Support the delivery of secure, high-quality software within a government environment

Required Experience:

  • Strong commercial experience developing with TypeScript
  • Good understanding of software development principles and design patterns
  • Experience working with APIs, microservices, and modern development practices
  • Strong understanding of testing, debugging, and version control
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments
  • Experience working within public sector, government, defence, or other secure environments
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
