We’re looking for an experienced tyre fitter who knows their job, takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a busy workshop where standards still matter.
If you can fit and balance tyres confidently, repair punctures properly, spot when something isn’t right and treat customers well, we want to hear from you.
You’ll be joining a friendly, independent garage with a strong local reputation, a good team and plenty of opportunity to develop.

We’re a busy, independent, family-run tyre and autocentre based in Horncastle.
We’ve built our reputation by working hard, being straight with people and doing things properly.

THE ROLE
This is a hands-on workshop role for an experienced tyre fitter.
You’ll be working on vehicles every day alongside the rest of our workshop team.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Fitting and removing tyres
- Wheel balancing
- Puncture repairs
- Tyre inspections and tread checks
- Wheel alignment
- TPMS checks and repairs
- Locking wheel nut removal
- Wheel straightening
- Moving customer vehicles
- Receiving tyre deliveries and putting stock away
- Helping other members of the workshop team when needed
- Speaking confidently and professionally with customers.
Experience in wheel alignment and wheel straightening would be an advantage, but we’re happy to provide training in these areas for the right experienced tyre fitter.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
You’ll need previous tyre fitting experience and must be confident fitting, removing and balancing tyres.
You’ll also need:
- A full UK driving licence
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Initiative
- Attention to detail
- Pride in your workmanship
- Good communication skills
- Confidence speaking with customers
- A positive attitude
- The ability to work well as part of a busy team
- A willingness to help others
- Respect for tools, equipment and the workshop
- A willingness to learn and develop

WORKING HOURS
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
- Saturday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
- Sunday: Closed
You’ll have one Saturday off each month, unpaid, and you can choose which Saturday you take.
PAY
£13.25 – £16.00 per hour
Your starting rate will depend on your experience, ability and the skills you can bring to the workshop.
For us, years of experience aren’t the only thing that matter.
Ability, attitude and quality of workmanship matter too.
