Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Tyre Fitter role based in Worthing. The Tyre Fitter will be responsible for fitting, removing, and replacing tyres on a variety of vehicles, including balancing wheels and checking tyre pressure. Daily tasks include inspecting tyres for wear or damage, advising on tyre condition, and ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard. The role also involves operating workshop equipment, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and providing courteous, professional service to customers. The Tyre Fitter will work closely with other team members to support overall workshop operations and may assist with basic vehicle checks when required.

Qualifications

- Practical experience with tyre fitting, wheel balancing, and puncture repairs, ideally within an automotive workshop environment.
- Strong understanding of vehicle safety practices, safe use of lifting equipment, and adherence to health and safety procedures.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to carry out routine inspections and simple vehicle checks.
- Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach, with the ability to explain work clearly and professionally.
- Ability to work reliably in a physically active role, manage time well, and contribute positively to a small team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, processes, and technologies used in tyre and autocare services.
- Previous experience in automotive or tyre services is preferred but not essential; relevant training or certifications are an advantage.
- Right to work in the UK and availability to work full-time on-site in Worthing.
