Location: Shaftesbury and Blandford
Salary: A GBP 32,000 - A GBP 35,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
DCM Tyre and Autocentres is looking for a Tyre Technician to join our busy, friendly workshop. If you take pride in doing the job properly and want to work somewhere that values your skills, we'd like to hear from you.
The Role
As a Tyre Technician, you'll be at the heart of our workshop, keeping customers safe on the road. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Fitting, removing, repairing and balancing tyres on cars, vans and light commercial vehicles
- Carrying out wheel alignment and tracking checks
- Inspecting tyres for wear, damage and legal compliance, and advising customers clearly
- Fitting and servicing TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring) sensors
- Performing basic vehicle checks and fast-fit work such as batteries, wipers, bulbs
- Following correct wheel nut torque procedures and all health and safety guidelines
- Keeping the workshop clean, tidy and well organised

About You
Essentials
- Previous experience as a tyre fitter or fast-fit technician
- Good understanding of tyre safety and legal requirements
- Hard-working, punctual and able to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Friendly and confident when speaking with customers
- Full UK driving licence
