Tyre Technician £30,000 to £32,000 basic Basic + Bonus OTE £35,600

Full-Time | Permanent | Cheltenham

A growing automotive service centre is seeking a skilled Tyre Technician to join their high-performing team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, safety, and excellent customer service.

  • Tyre Care & Fitting: Carrying out safe and accurate tyre replacements, balancing, and puncture repairs on consumer cars and vans.
  • Component Adjustment: Removing and refitting relevant wheels, valves, and tracking components using proper workshop tools.
  • Fault Communication: Identifying additional vehicle safety defects or tyre wear issues and notifying both management and customers.
  • Vehicle Preservation: Ensuring all client vehicles remain completely clean of workshop dirt, oil, or marks after tyre service tasks are completed.
  • Digital Logging: Maintaining strict operational documentation on job cards in line with regional company policies.

About You

  • Technical Experience: At least 2 years of tyre fitting experience or a formal automotive apprenticeship.
  • Licencing: A full, clean UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 6 months.
  • Industry Training: A qualification in an automotive field is highly desirable.
  • Workspace Style: Ability to manage multiple tasks independently or cooperate effectively inside a high-volume, fast-paced commercial environment.
