Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Uber Driver for Testing the Uber App based in United Kingdom.
Join a flexible, fully remote freelance testing opportunity where your experience as an active driver directly contributes to improving a widely used mobile app.
- You’ll test new features in the driver experience and provide practical feedback based on real-world usage.
- The role focuses on functional testing, helping identify issues and ensure a smooth experience for drivers.
- You’ll work on short-term testing tasks with a regular weekly cadence and occasional additional requests.
- Testing can be completed around your existing schedule, giving you the freedom to choose when you participate.
- You’ll receive guidance and testing materials, as well as access to a platform for tracking and reporting your findings.
- This is an opportunity to earn $27 USD per hour while contributing to improvements in a global-scale app.
Accountabilities
- Participate in functional testing of new and updated features within the driver mobile app.
- Use the app in realistic scenarios and evaluate whether features work as expected.
- Identify and document defects or unexpected behavior using the designated defect-tracking platform.
- Provide clear, accurate, and actionable feedback based on your experience as an active driver.
- Complete assigned testing tasks within the required timeframe, with approximately one hour of testing availability needed per opportunity.
- Review provided testing materials and instructions before completing each assignment.
- Participate in recurring weekly testing activities, with additional ad-hoc opportunities when available.

Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be physically located in Switzerland.
- Be an active Uber Driver with experience using the driver app.
- Have an iPhone and/or Android smartphone suitable for testing.
- Have at least one hour available for testing assignments.
- Be comfortable following testing instructions and documenting findings clearly.
- Have strong attention to detail and the ability to provide practical, structured feedback.
- Be comfortable working independently in a remote freelance environment.
- Have a local bank account that supports SEPA payments, as required for testing the app’s Flex Pay feature. You will not be asked to share your banking information with the testing teams.
- Be willing to create an account on the partner’s testing platform if selected, where assignments are provided and payments are processed.
