UK Base Sales Support Specialist – Job Description
Role:
Do you want to be a key part of an optimum Customer Experience? The Technical Sales Support Specialist is a key position working with new or potential Tango Network’s partners to ensure that they have in-depth technical understanding of the Tango Extend solution as well as full awareness of functional integration options that the solution provides. As a member of the Tango Networks Customer Success Team, you will be responsible for nurturing strong client and cross-departmental relationships focused on delivering high-quality technical analysis and guidance through the partner’s product discovery phase.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to provide a calming effect on situations that require immediate and tactical attention
- Coordinate partner education efforts with Sales Account Managers to ensure that the sales team has an excellent level of technical support as they engage potential opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of the Tango Extend product offering in the Mobility and UC integration space, while leveraging your own knowledge to refine the technical education of internal sales colleagues and candidate partners.
- Define, manage, and coordinate new customer demos in collaboration with Tango Networks Operations and Engineering teams.
- Leverage personal and product knowledge to anticipate solution integration challenges and propose viable solutions, within the scope of known capabilities, as partner integration requirements become understood.
- Experience working in a matrix-managed environment – managing success and expectations across multiple internal teams with whom you will be interacting, while focusing on reliable and clear communication
- Highly motivated team player – holding accountability as an individual contributor
- Strongly detail-oriented and able to follow defined processes
- Solid Time Management Skills
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools
- Power of Persuasion – ability to get a “yes”
- Technical but with a strong sales-centric mentality – driving revenue is the end goal
- Knowledge of Telecommunications and Network Services a must. Background in mobile telephony a plus.
- Must understand key concepts of call routing, system connectivity, provisioning functions, and general telecom integration practices.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate pre-sales technical interactions, including demos, product capability education, technical integration discovery sessions, and any other sales support request from internal team or engaged partner.
- Pro-actively engage with customers to manage the initial partner engagement from a technical perspective and support the general sales account management process as requested by sales directors.
- Identify deviations from standard deployment scope and capture relevant requirements for assessment
- Act as liaison between Sales and Operations to educate sales on new product capabilities as they become available.
- Demonstrate to Partners the capabilities of the Tango Extend product and provide clarity for the partner on how to leverage these capabilities in a manner suiting their business needs.
- Ability to provide customer demonstrations and engage technically at the CTO level
- Passionate in understanding key customer needs and deeply motivated to help clients achieve business objectives
- Proven track record of technical sales support of large accounts
- Follow all processes in a disciplined manner and openly identify necessary changes for efficiency
- Serve as a customer advocate, representing the customer’s interests within Tango Networks during early engagement phases.

- Candidate shall be based in the UK (Possible exception for exceptional candidate)
