Supply Chain Manager

Rolle Purpose

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring a cost-effective, reliable, and quality-assured flow of materials, components, and services to Eurostair Group stair and steel construction manufacturing – from supplier to final delivery to the customer.

Responsibility for the strategic and operational purchasing process: Ensure:

  • approved suppliers according to EN-1090
  • traceability of materials (3.1 or 3.2 certificates)
  • stable delivery capacity during project peaks

Typical Tasks in Your Environment

  • book laser and bending/punching jobs at external workshops
  • secure galvanizing times for large stair constructions
  • prioritize between projects when capacity is limited
  • solve material shortages in ongoing production
  • follow up delays with suppliers
  • participate in weekly meetings with sales, design, production
  • participate in product development groups

Qualifications Experience

  • several years of experience in supply chain / purchasing within:
    • steel
    • metal industry
    • project-based production
  • good understanding of:
    • drawing-controlled production
    • tolerances
    • material qualities

Highly Desirable

  • practical experience of:
    • EN-1090
    • CE marking of load-bearing steel structures
  • experience working with:
    • 3.1 material certificates
    • batch and heat traceability

Personal Characteristics

  • structured and very solution-oriented
  • strong communication skills towards:
    • production
    • project management
    • suppliers
  • stress resilient in a project-intensive environment
  • business-minded and cost-conscious

Eurostair's Declared Common Language Is English. The Role Normally Reports To The Eurostair GROUP Leader And Works Daily Together With:
