The Position
Bespoke Bureau is recruiting an experienced and highly professional Housekeeper to join the established household team of an UHNW international family in Central London.
The primary place of work will be the family's prestigious private office and family office close to Sloane Square. The building serves as the headquarters for the family's investment and business interests and is used by approximately 30 professional staff.
This is not a conventional commercial office-cleaning position. The property forms part of a wider portfolio of four privately owned properties within walking distance of one another, and standards are comparable to those expected within an exceptional UHNW private residence or five-star luxury environment.
We are therefore looking for an experienced private Housekeeper who understands immaculate presentation, discretion, attention to detail and consistently high standards.
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the office property but may occasionally be required to assist or rotate between the family's other nearby properties as part of the wider housekeeping team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain the office property to exceptional UHNW standards throughout the day
- Clean and meticulously present offices, meeting rooms, reception areas, communal spaces and other areas of the building
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and detailed cleaning
- Maintain immaculate presentation of surfaces, furniture, fixtures and fittings
- Regularly check high-use areas and ensure they remain pristine throughout the working day
- Organise and maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment
- Monitor stock levels and report requirements as necessary
- Respond promptly to housekeeping requirements throughout the building
- Work discreetly around family members, senior executives, bankers, guests and other professional staff
- Follow established household standards and procedures
- Work collaboratively with the wider housekeeping and household team
- Assist within the family's other nearby properties when required
- Report maintenance issues or defects promptly
- Undertake occasional deeper cleaning and special projects
- Ensure all duties are completed safely and to an exceptionally high standard
- Provide flexibility for very occasional weekend requirements

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Hours & Rota
The position is Monday to Friday, approximately 45 hours per week.
The housekeeping team operates a rota covering the building throughout the day, with early, middle and late shifts. The earliest shift will commence at approximately 7:00am and the latest shift will finish at approximately 10:00pm.
Weekend work is unusual and is anticipated only a few times per year. Flexibility on those occasions will be required.
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate
This role would particularly suit a strong private Housekeeper who enjoys maintaining an immaculate environment but would like the structure of a predominantly Monday-to-Friday position.
The successful candidate will understand that UHNW housekeeping is about considerably more than simply completing a cleaning checklist. They will naturally notice fingerprints, dust, presentation issues, misplaced items and areas requiring attention and deal with them before being asked.
