The opportunity
Birchwell Associates is supporting a digital product business in the search for a UI Designer. This role will suit a visually strong designer who can turn UX thinking and brand direction into polished, usable interfaces.
You will work alongside UX, product, design-system and engineering colleagues to create responsive experiences across web and mobile products.
What you will be doing
- Create high-fidelity responsive interface designs for web and mobile products.
- Develop visual concepts, interaction patterns and detailed component states.
- Work from UX flows and wireframes to deliver polished product experiences.
- Contribute to design systems, component libraries and visual standards.
- Prepare developer-ready files, specifications and design documentation.
- Support design critique, accessibility reviews and quality assurance during delivery.

What we are looking for
- Commercial experience in UI, visual or digital product design.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating polished web and mobile interface work.
- Advanced Figma skills and strong knowledge of components and auto layout.
- Excellent understanding of typography, spacing, hierarchy and responsive design.
- Awareness of accessibility and practical design-to-development workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence collaborating with UX and engineering teams.
