Interview Process

As part of the interview process, we'd like to understand how you approach designing enterprise dashboards for data-rich products. This exercise is intended to evaluate your UX thinking, information architecture, visual hierarchy, and ability to design dashboards that support business decision-making. This is not a visual design competition—we're more interested in your design decisions than pixel-perfect UI.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Brief

A large B2B SaaS company currently relies on multiple Excel reports to monitor its sales performance. Every morning, Sales Directors spend nearly an hour opening different reports to answer questions like:

  • How is revenue performing?
  • Which regions are underperforming?
  • Which products are driving growth?
  • Which sales representatives need attention?
  • What deals are at risk?
  • Which customers contribute most to revenue?

The company has decided to consolidate all reporting into a single analytics dashboard that will eventually be implemented in Power BI. Your task is to design this dashboard experience.

Data

You may make reasonable assumptions where required.

  • Total Revenue
  • Revenue vs Target
  • Monthly Trend
  • Top 10 Customers
  • Product Performance
  • Region-wise Sales
  • Salesperson Performance
  • Pipeline Stage
  • Win Rate
