Lighthouse Games
Lighthouse Games is a new AAA studio in Leamington Spa. We are defined by our pedigree of talent, and serious ambition to build a new best-in-class game. When you join us at Lighthouse, you will be able to create the best work of your career, in an environment that feels truly collaborative. You will learn from the best, and work along side the future greats of the gaming industry.
We're building something ambitious, and we're looking for a talented UI/UX Artist to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract and help shape the player experience of our next-generation open-world game.
As a UI/UX Artist, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering intuitive, engaging and visually compelling user interfaces across the game.
Working closely with our UX, Design, Art and Engineering teams, you'll help take ideas from early concepts through to polished, fully implemented game-ready UI. You'll have the opportunity to influence how players interact with the game, ensuring that the experience is both functional and visually exciting.
This is a hands-on role where your creative thinking, attention to detail and understanding of player-focused design will have a direct impact on the final game.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
