Job Title: UI/UX Designer
Location: Remote role with occasional travel for meetings
Contract Type: Permanent
Summary
The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for creating intuitive, engaging, and user-centered design solutions for digital products and services. The role involves understanding user needs, designing seamless user experiences, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver visually appealing and functional interfaces. A strong understanding of design principles, usability, and modern design tools is essential. The successful candidate will contribute to the full product design lifecycle and ensure alignment with business goals and user expectations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand user and business requirements.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Design intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Ensure consistency in design systems, branding, and style guidelines.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to implement designs.
- Iterate designs based on feedback, analytics, and usability insights.
- Optimize user experience for accessibility, performance, and scalability.
- Maintain design documentation, guidelines, and component libraries.
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

- A bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in UI/UX design or product design.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
- Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
