About The Role

We are seeking a talented UI / UX Designer to join our team on a 3-month rolling contract basis. This role is pivotal in shaping the user experience and visual aesthetics of our premium SaaS platform, which specializes in video project management and editing tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for minimalist design, with expertise in Apple-inspired interfaces, glassmorphism, and neo-futuristic styles. You will be responsible for creating intuitive, visually appealing designs that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. Experience working on video projects is a bonus, as it will provide valuable insight into the specific needs of our platform users. The role offers flexibility with remote working, provided you are based in the UK, and is outside IR35, offering a competitive daily rate.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a UI / UX Designer, preferably within SaaS or technology-focused companies.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in minimalist, Apple-inspired UI designs, glassmorphism, and neo-futuristic aesthetics.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar software.
  • Experience working on video-related projects or platforms is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of front-end development principles, with some experience scaffolding designs into code, especially in AI-enhanced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing deadlines efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop user interfaces that are visually compelling, user-friendly, and aligned with the company’s brand identity.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into innovative design solutions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Implement minimalist and Apple-inspired design principles, incorporating glassmorphism and neo-futuristic elements.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing to continually enhance user experience.
  • Assist in scaffolding designs into code, leveraging AI tools where applicable, to ensure seamless integration with development workflows.
  • Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices to keep our platform cutting-edge.
  • Contribute to creating a consistent and cohesive visual language across all product interfaces.
