About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions that support our inspection and metrology systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable software products. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing the performance and capabilities of our systems, ensuring that KLA-Tencor remains at the forefront of technological advancements in process control solutions for the semiconductor industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 5+ years in software development, preferably within the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
  • Experience with software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with real-time systems, data processing, and large-scale data analytics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions for inspection, metrology, and process control systems.
  • Collaborate with hardware and data science teams to optimize system performance and accuracy.
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Develop algorithms and data processing techniques to enhance system capabilities and reliability.
  • Maintain and improve existing software applications, ensuring stability and scalability.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into our products.
