About The Role
We are seeking a talented UI / UX Designer to join our team on a 3-month rolling contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for minimalist, Apple-inspired design aesthetics, incorporating glassmorphism and neo-skeuomorphic elements. This role is pivotal in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our premium SaaS video project management tool. The successful applicant will work closely with our product and development teams to create intuitive, visually appealing interfaces that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. Experience with video projects is a bonus, as it will help in designing features tailored to multimedia content. The role offers flexibility with remote working, provided the candidate is based in the UK, and involves a mix of design, prototyping, and possibly some scaffolding of designs with AI tools. The position is outside IR35, with competitive daily rates, and is suitable for professionals looking to contribute to innovative projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a UI / UX Designer, preferably within SaaS or software development environments.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating minimalist design, Apple-inspired aesthetics, and familiarity with glassmorphism and neo design trends.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Experience designing for video or multimedia projects is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time efficiently in a remote working environment.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted design tools and scaffolding techniques is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop user interfaces for our premium SaaS video project management platform, ensuring a sleek, modern, and minimalist aesthetic aligned with Apple-inspired design principles.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate user flows and interactions.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate user requirements into functional and visually appealing designs.
- Implement glassmorphism and neo-skeuomorphic elements to enhance visual depth and engagement.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and users to iteratively improve the user experience.
- Assist in scaffolding design concepts using AI tools, ensuring scalability and consistency across the platform.
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and best practices to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge.
- Participate in user testing and usability studies to gather insights and refine designs accordingly.
