About the Role

We are looking for a London-based Senior Product Designer to create rail-booking experiences that feel genuinely designed for the EU market.

You will combine strong product-design skills with first-hand knowledge of EU rail travel, helping international teams understand local passenger needs, behaviours and expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end product design across mobile and web, from user flows and concepts to polished interfaces and prototypes.
  • Simplify complex rail journeys involving fares, Railcards, ticket restrictions, disruptions, cancellations and refunds.
  • Apply EU-specific terminology, content patterns, visual conventions and accessibility standards.
  • Use research, customer feedback and product data to validate and improve designs.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers and international stakeholders while contributing to our design system.
  • Share EU-market insights with international stakeholders and help the wider team make informed localisation decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in product, UX/UI or interaction design.
  • At least 3 years and above of relevant experience in the travel and tech industry.
  • Based in London, or committed to relocating before starting.
  • Experience localising global products for the EU market.
  • Strong interaction and visual-design skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Advanced Figma skills, including components, auto layout, design tokens and prototyping.
  • A polished portfolio showing your process, ownership and product impact.
