General Position Summary

The UK Account Manager will play a pivotal role in driving our growth across the UK. This is a field-based position requiring frequent and extensive travel nationwide. As a client-facing role, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue from existing accounts while opening doors to new partnerships in the commercial fitness, hospitality, and corporate wellness sectors.

Success in this role requires more than just sales ability—you will be a trusted advisor, understanding each client’s business goals and tailoring solutions that deliver real value. The ideal candidate will be a confident relationship-builder, commercially astute, and motivated by hitting (and surpassing) ambitious targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within gyms, leisure centers, hotels, corporate wellness programs, and fitness boutiques.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored sales proposals, quotations, and product presentations.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams (finance, operations, marketing, customer service) to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, revenue growth, and account objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in B2B sales or account management in fitness equipment, sporting goods, or a related industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong business development mindset with the ability to identify and close opportunities.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and pipeline management skills.
  • Passionate about fitness, health, and wellbeing.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, especially Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Full UK driving license essential.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum 6 years previous sales experience, fitness equipment background or industry experience.
  • Prior trade show experience preferred.
