Contract Type: Permanent
Location: London, TVC, approximately 2 days in office
Proposed Salary Range: £42,000 - £48,000 on relevant skills, knowledge, and experience. Plus London Weighting Allowance of £5,441 and 25% bonus OTE. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Purpose of the Role
As the UK Ad Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling digital and branded content advertising solutions to agencies and advertisers across the UK. You will leverage existing industry relationships, identify new business opportunities, and deliver substantial digital advertising revenues while championing the BBC Studios sales proposition. This role will suit a self-starter who wants to play a leading role in selling the BBC Studios Sales offering.

Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
- Supporting in growing BBC Studios social advertising revenues via YouTube Partner Sales and Branded Content offering.
- Drive digital advertising revenues from both UK and global clients.
- Help implement the commercial strategy for the BBC Studios digital advertising offering.
- Target agencies and clients to buy digital advertising or branded content deals directly from BBC Studios.
- Manage your sales pipeline and report your progress weekly to the Account Director, Digital Advertising.
- Take responsibility for selling BBC Studios digital advertising, social sponsorship packages, and branded content deals to UK media agencies and clients.
- Deliver against quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Ensure all advertising campaigns adhere to BBC Studios Advertising Guidelines.
- Work with the Ad Ops and Planning teams in the successful delivery and measurement of all campaigns.
- Contribute to the Digital AVOD commercial strategy across BBC Group.
- Support the wider digital team in identifying new revenue opportunities on all platforms.
Essential Criteria
Your Skills and Experience
- A successful track record in selling digital advertising for a media owner.
- Experience in selling branded content media packages tailored to a brand's brief.
- Good knowledge of the digital advertising market and all social trading metrics, specifically YouTube.
- Strong contacts at UK media agencies / clients responsible for buying digital advertising including social, digital, AV trading & partnership teams.
- Excellent working knowledge of Google Ad Manager.
- Possess a strong understanding of the Digital AVOD sector, platforms, and BBC competitors.
Desired But Not Required
- Knowledge of Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) Regulations.
