The Role

The Advanced Technology Specialist drives and achieves the sales target for the premium IOL portfolio including our newest launch, Galaxy.

In this exciting role in our UK Sales team, you will lead the Premium sector here at Rayner in the UK, through extensive knowledge of Rayner and competitor Premium IOL technology.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Primary objective is to drive and achieve the sales target for the premium IOL portfolio including our newest launch, Galaxy
  • Lead the Premium sector, through extensive knowledge of Rayner and competitor Premium IOL technology
  • Support and drive clinical expertise across the private sector groups in line with the local Strategy
  • Keep updated with market developments, providing regular training to the local sales team
  • Extensive travel across your region, with particular focus on concentrated areas of private IOL surgery
  • Develop a network of KOLs across the region maintaining a strong program of scientific promotions
  • Work closely with Marketing and Eye Sciences to increase podium presence, deliver high quality medical education, webinars, case studies and articles
  • Work closely with the Country Manager, Marketing Manager, sales agents, and distributors
  • Plan, coordinate and implement clinical evaluations to ensure clinical acceptance of Rayner product range and technology

Essential

  • Transferable premium IOL market share
  • Extensive KOL/ophthalmic surgeon network in local sector
  • Experience within local ophthalmology sector
  • Experience selling into the private healthcare environment
  • Full driving license

Desirable

  • Educated to Degree level
