Job Description

Your Role at Raising Cane’s:

The Area Leader of Growth is responsible for the delivery and implementation of effective training systems at new restaurant openings (NRO) for multiple training teams. The role is responsible for all planning and communication with cross-functional teams ensuring complete readiness for NRO training. This leader is also responsible for executing Raising Cane's training standards within NROs, providing strategic support for wider training initiatives, assessing training requirements and opportunities, and supervising training development of Managers and Crewmembers.

  • Lead multiple NRO training teams and ensure restaurants are equipped for long-term success
  • Assemble and lead training teams through NRO training readiness processes, including planning and communication
  • Lead, coach, and support training teams (e.g., Area Leaders of Training) operationally throughout each NRO, ensuring all Company standards are met
  • Conduct Restaurant needs assessments to identify training and operational support needs, succession plans, etc.
  • Plan and arrange food preparation logistics for NROs, including product and equipment ordering, food pars, etc.
  • Facilitate roll outs and deployment of new systems and processes
  • Support staffing, scheduling, training and performance management
  • Assist with identification of NRO training talent and facilitate Crewmember and manager focus group sessions
  • Audit all facets of operations and deliver feedback to support strategy development and execution with financial, people and operations management
  • Execute shift management, meeting Raising Cane’s operations and safety standards
  • Perform Restaurant performance standards observation walks, documenting results and taking corrective action

Travel Requirements:

  • 80% of the role will include travel
  • International passport required
  • Required to live or be in a reasonable commute to the assigned area

Qualifications

Requirements for Success:

  • 5+ years’ Restaurant or retail management experience
  • Experience within new Restaurant openings and training
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and flexible for effective multi-priority management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems
