TikTok Music is responsible for all things music across our global products & businesses, including “Resso” - its own young, vibrant, edgy digital music service. Role Summary:
We are looking for the ideal rock star candidate who is excited about working in fast-paced environments and on multiple projects simultaneously as an Artist Partnerships Lead for the UK market. This role works closely with the Licensing, Product Operation, and Program Management functions to articulate and execute TikTok's Global Music strategy in close partnership with regional teams.
The Artist Partnerships Manager is someone who enjoys building and amplifying relationships with UK artists and labels at a global scale. This external-facing role will require engaging with local external partners to push the needs of the vertical forward and secure productive outcomes for all parties involved. At its core, this is an operational role that requires great interpersonal skills, strong coordination, and an ability to anticipate partner needs. We are looking for individuals who are resourceful and solution-oriented, bring positivity to the work environment, and are not afraid to tackle ambiguous problems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead artist campaigns across regions and be the central point of information gathering
- Internally advocate for and champion the needs of the UK artist community with key XFN stakeholders (product, MKT, Programming, etc.)
- Provide strategic and hands-on support for UK artists and partners around key moments, such as onboarding and album release to further deliver best-in-class service
- Outreach, onboarding, and partner management efforts with identified artists on TikTok, in collaboration with regional teams
- Provide high-touch relationship management through the communication of content best practices and education on how to optimize performance
- Manage and grow a portfolio of high-touch TikTok partners in music content categories by developing customized analytical strategies
- Support the licensing team as they negotiate and execute agreements to unlock differentiated outcomes through partnerships
- Solicit, organize, and contextualize product feedback from creators and support with data
- Drive, measure & analyze performance against key engagement metrics

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s)
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years experience in music partnerships, community management, media, or marketing in an external facing partner role.
- Established connections and the ability to engage in direct, credible dialogue with senior executives at record labels and artist management companies, as well as with artists themselves.
- Deep understanding of the Artist and Music ecosystem
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships externally and internally
- Proven track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, strong attention to detail, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable providing customer support over the phone, email/web, and in-person at events
Preferred Qualification(s)
- Willing to travel to visit partners, attend events, etc.
- A team player who can lead efforts across music; capable of working calmly and quickly in high-stress environments and are solutions-oriented.
- Having a TikTok account and a strong understanding of content types on the platform
- Ability to navigate and execute through ambiguity and drive momentum for new projects and ideas.
- Ability to quickly and deeply understand the fundamentals of a new business and the core areas of growth.
