About the Role
We are one of the world's leading companies in composite and clamp-based pipeline repair for the offshore and onshore petrochemical industries. To support our expanding operations throughout the UK and internationally, we are looking for motivated, hands-on Technicians with an engineering or trade background.
This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking to earn a substantial income while building specialist skills at the forefront of pipeline repair.
You will receive full training in live leak sealing and composite repair, allowing you to progress from being part of a repair team to leading one.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to onshore and offshore sites (sometimes at short notice) to stop leaks or repair pipelines suffering wall loss (corrosion, erosion, etc.).
- Perform composite wrapping and clamp installation to industry standards.
- Support emergency response operations safely and efficiently.
- Liaise with client site engineers and provide project documentation and updates.
- Attend training on leak-stopping and composite repair techniques.
- Support sales personnel during technical discussions when required.
- Maintain and manage equipment and consumable stock.
- Mobilise throughout the UK and internationally, including Europe, West Africa, Azerbaijan and the Middle East.

Essential Requirements
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Right to work in the UK must be held.
- Flexible and able to mobilise quickly, including evenings and weekends.
- Willing to work offshore and internationally.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Able to mobilise away from home on projects that may require up to three weeks away at a time.
- Comfortable working in industrial environments and at height when required.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous engineering or trade experience (mechanical, construction, pipefitting, fabrication, maintenance, plumbing, etc.).
- Offshore certification (BOSIET, MIST, HUET, etc.).
- CCNSG Safety Passport.
- IRATA Rope Access certification.
- Experience with composite repairs, technical drawings, pipe measurement or clamp installation.
- Strong problem-solving ability, teamwork and a positive attitude.
- Good IT and reporting skills (Microsoft Office, email and project documentation).
- Additional languages would be advantageous.
- Professional certifications and training requirements can be attained whilst in the role for the right candidate.
