The role is responsible for carrying out warehouse operations including forward and bulk picking, put-away, replenishment, packing, dispatch, goods in, stock control, stock-system transactions, and general warehouse duties to ensure customer service, quality, productivity, and safety standards are consistently achieved.

Purpose

To support the safe, accurate, and efficient operation of the warehouse by receiving, storing, moving, picking, packing, and dispatching goods in line with agreed procedures, service levels, and operational priorities. The role works flexibly across warehouse activities and, where appropriately licensed and authorized, operates VNA or other mechanical handling equipment.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

  • Pick goods accurately from forward-pick locations, confirm quantities and product details, and prepare goods for the next stage of the order process.
  • Carry out warehouse activities as allocated, which may include goods in, put-away, stock movements, replenishment, picking, packing, fabric or wallcovering handling, dispatch, and production support.

Goods in and Stock Control

  • Receive and check incoming goods against the relevant documentation. Report shortages, damage, discrepancies, or quality concerns promptly and place stock in the correct location.
  • Pick, put away, and move bulk stock safely and accurately, maintaining correct stock locations and supporting product availability.
  • Pick and pack goods accurately and in the required format, ensuring products are suitably protected, correctly labelled, and ready for collection or dispatch. Complete relevant checks and documentation.
  • Replenish forward-pick locations accurately and promptly so customer orders can be completed within agreed service requirements.
  • Use warehouse systems, scanners, and documentation accurately to record receipts, picks, put-away, stock movements, and dispatch activity, maintaining stock traceability.

Driving, VNA, and Mechanical Handling

  • Where appropriately trained, licensed, and authorized, operate VNA trucks and other mechanical or manual handling equipment in accordance with training, procedures, pre-use checks, and safety requirements. Report defects immediately and do not use unsafe equipment.
  • Where authorized and legally entitled to do so, drive a company vehicle between sites or to other approved destinations. Carry out required checks, drive safely, and report defects, incidents, or concerns promptly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
