Requirement Summary

Welocity.ai is seeking a seasoned Business Development Lead to spearhead our growth in the UK technology services sector. Based in Shoreditch, Central London, this role is pivotal for expanding our client base and enhancing our market presence across the UK.

Description

  • Proven experience in business development within the technology services, IT staffing, or technology recruitment sectors, ideally 5-7 years.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK technology and hiring market, with an existing network in the industry being advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new client relationships and successfully generate commercial opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills to foster long-term client partnerships.
  • Proactive and commercially savvy, with a consultative approach to client engagement and solution selling.
  • Ability to work independently in a client-facing environment, representing the business at meetings and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective clients within the UK technology ecosystem to drive business growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with technology companies, enterprises, and growing businesses.
  • Engage with senior decision-makers across various departments such as Technology, Talent, HR, and Procurement to understand client needs.
  • Present tailored technology services, staffing, and talent solutions to meet clients' project and hiring requirements.
  • Lead the development of business opportunities from initial conversation to proposal and final contract.
  • Attend and actively participate in client meetings, networking sessions, and industry events to enhance market presence.
  • Maintain an active portfolio of prospective and existing clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technology, recruitment, and delivery, to ensure seamless client service and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
