Lupos Global has a requirement UK CAA Maintrol Engineer (Line Maintenance) to be based in Manchester. This is a permanent position and starting ASAP!

In this role you will act as the central coordination point between Line Stations, third‑party maintenance providers and pilots to ensure safe and reliable daily operations.

Main Duties Of The Role

  • Manage scheduled and unscheduled Line Maintenance activities, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and maintenance programme requirements.
  • Control and monitors Acceptable Deferred Defects (ADDs), driving timely rectification and coordinating required spares, tooling and documentation.
  • Support aircraft recovery through technical guidance, logistics coordination and oversight of crew duty‑time limitations.
  • Provide real‑time technical assistance to flight crews and engineers during in‑flight or ground‑based operational issues.
  • Coordinate information flow following aircraft incidents and contributes to recovery planning.
  • Allocate aircraft in line with operational, engineering and maintenance priorities.
  • Responsible for improving aircraft and Engineering performance through proactive use of Aircraft monitoring and prognostic tools
  • Provide specialist technical support as required with due regard for safety, technical, regulatory and commercial requirements.

Position Details

  • Role: UK CAA Maintrol Engineer (Ideally with EMB 190 Type rating, not essential)
  • Type: Line Maintenance
  • Start: ASAP
  • Location: Manchester
  • Position: Permanent
  • Shift Patterns: 5/5/4 shift (days & nights) Guaranteed 2 weekends off per month
  • Salary: Very Competitive Salary and Overtime available (enhanced rates)

Experience Ideally Required

  • Must hold an UK CAA B1 or B2 License
  • Experience on the following Types would be highly regarded - EMB 170/90
  • Right to live and work in UK
