UK Commercial Account Manager
- Location: Winnersh, London

Overview
We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Commercial Account Manager to join our UK sales team. This role is ideal for a proactive sales professional who enjoys managing and growing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
As a Commercial Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing account plans, driving revenue growth within your assigned territory, and positioning a broad portfolio of technology solutions to meet customer business challenges. You will work closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer outcomes and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial accounts through proactive account management and strategic engagement.
- Develop and execute account plans to drive revenue growth, customer retention, and account expansion.
- Generate, qualify, and progress sales opportunities through to successful closure.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding business objectives and technology requirements.
- Position solutions effectively against customer needs and competitive offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and field sales colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Create and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, delivering accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell products and services across the portfolio.
- Drive customer retention and long-term account development strategies.
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records within Salesforce or other CRM systems.

About You
You are a motivated sales professional with a passion for building relationships and delivering results. You combine strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand customer challenges and align technology solutions to business outcomes.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Sales, Business, Technology, or a related field.
- Typically 2+ years of experience in sales, account management, customer success, business development, networking, IT, or a related customer-facing role.
- Experience managing customer relationships and delivering against sales targets.
- Proven ability to build and maintain sales pipelines and forecasts.
- Experience working with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.

- Good understanding of technology products, services, and industry solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into value-based solutions.

- Collaborative team player with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.
