About the Role
As a Delivery Lead at Infinite Lambda, you'll hold accountability for the successful delivery of multi-workstream programmes for our most important clients. You will own the entire programme lifecycle — from commercial handover through to closure — coordinating multiple projects, teams, and delivery streams into a single coherent outcome. You will be a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including C-level executives, and the person our clients and our own leadership turn to when a programme hits a serious issue and needs a steady, credible hand to resolve it.
You are a critical partner in our client relationships, working closely with Account Managers to protect and grow long-term accounts, and with Executive Sponsors to keep governance sharp and escalations resolved quickly. Beyond delivery, you're expected to translate ambiguous, high-level business strategy into structured requirements and a deliverable roadmap — bringing the same rigour to business analysis as you do to programme governance.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of multi-workstream programmes spanning multiple projects, vendors, and delivery teams, using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches tailored to each client and phase.
- Hold ultimate accountability for programme scope and benefits realisation across the full programme lifecycle.
- Act as the escalation point for serious programme issues: recover programmes that are off-track, re-baseline commercials and timelines where needed, and manage the client conversations that come with it.
- Design and enforce programme-level governance models, RAID processes, and reporting standards, ensuring predictable, high-quality execution is visible at every level from delivery team to executive sponsor.
- Facilitate steering committees, delivering clear, credible updates and recommendations to C-level stakeholders on both the client and Infinite Lambda side.
- Build and hold relationships with senior client stakeholders and executive sponsors, acting as a trusted voice in high-stakes conversations, difficult trade-offs, and commercial negotiations.
- Lead business analysis at a programme level: gather and structure high-level business requirements and strategic objectives, and translate them into a coherent programme roadmap, benefits case, and workstream breakdown.
- Identify and manage cross-workstream dependencies, escalating and closing them out before they threaten delivery.
- Constructively challenge technical and commercial assumptions across workstreams, guiding recovery plans and trade-off decisions between engineering quality, cost, and delivery speed at a programme level.
- Own commercial governance for the programme, including Change Control, Change Orders, and milestone sign-off, working closely with Account Managers and Executive Sponsors to protect margin and client trust.
- Represent Infinite Lambda credibly in the most demanding client conversations — the ones where relationships, not just delivery plans, are on the line.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Extensive experience with agile methodologies at programme scale, including managing dependencies and governance across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Strong conceptual understanding of software engineering and data delivery principles, sufficient to challenge, guide, and support technical leadership across several workstreams at once.
- Significant experience in business change as well as IT delivery, at an enterprise or large-account level.
- Gravitas, credibility, and maturity to engage, influence, and hold difficult conversations with C-level stakeholders on both client and internal sides.

- Proficiency in a variety of programme and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
- Strong business analysis toolkit at programme scale: requirements gathering, benefits mapping, process mapping, and senior stakeholder workshops.
- Exceptional problem-solving, conflict resolution, and change management skills, particularly under pressure or in adversarial situations.
- Ability to structure a complex, ambiguous programme into a clear workstream breakdown, dependency map, and governance model.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programmes or a large single programme with several parallel workstreams.
- Familiarity with a range of delivery methodologies and the judgement to select and adapt the right one per workstream.
Mindset:
- Comfortable holding ultimate accountability, including for issues you didn't personally cause.
- Calm and decisive under pressure — the person the room looks to when a programme is at risk.
- Demonstrated ability to orchestrate the big picture across multiple workstreams while still tracking the details that matter.
- A collaborative and positive approach to people, balanced with the willingness to have difficult conversations early.
- Willingness to take new directions and adapt to changing priorities at short notice.
