The Opportunity

As UK eCommerce Manager, you will shape and grow our online and retail sales of technology devices and services. With ownership of the customer journey and profit-and-loss performance, you will use commercial insight, data, and cross-functional collaboration to create simple, effective experiences for our customers. This is an opportunity to influence strategy while staying close to day-to-day delivery in a flexible, supportive environment.

  • Turn insight into action: Use data and customer insight to guide decisions and optimise online and retail sales.
  • Collaborate across the business: Partner with marketing, sales, IT, operations, and customer support to deliver a joined-up customer journey.
  • Manage commercial performance: Own budgets, forecasts, sales targets, and profit-and-loss performance, and provide clear reporting on results.
  • Explore market opportunities: Keep up to date with customer needs, market trends, and emerging technology to strengthen our proposition.
  • Lead digital marketing activity: Oversee channels including PPC, SEO, display, affiliates, and email marketing, working with internal teams and partners as appropriate.
  • Support responsible growth: Ensure activity meets relevant legal, regulatory, ethical, and internal requirements, including business, contract, and commercial approvals.
  • Oversee day-to-day delivery: Manage eCommerce operations from end to end, identifying and resolving issues that affect customers or performance.
  • Communicate progress: Share regular, meaningful updates with senior stakeholders on key measures, progress, risks, and opportunities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Essential: Demonstrable experience growing eCommerce or retail sales and establishing strong commercial relationships with mobile network operators (MNOs), retailers, and leasing partners, ideally within used mobile devices, refurbished technology, or consumer electronics.
  • Commercial awareness, including experience with budgets, forecasting, targets, or profit-and-loss performance.
  • Confidence using data, web analytics, and customer insight to make decisions and improve performance.
  • Practical experience of, and a strong understanding of cloud-based multichannel e-commerce sales platforms such as Rithum (ChannelAdvisor), together with working knowledge of content management systems and digital marketing practices such as SEO, SEM, PPC, affiliates, or email marketing.
  • Ability to lead projects, manage competing priorities, and work effectively with colleagues and partners across different functions.
  • Clear communication and the ability to explain performance, recommendations, and risks to a range of audiences.
  • Comfort using Microsoft 365 tools and learning new systems.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and sound judgment when working independently.
  • Experience in technology eCommerce, retail sales, contract negotiations, or a regulated environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
