About XLAIRS

XLAIRS is a deep-data LLM company working on AI data projects across Translation, Transcription, Speech, Voice & Audio, and Data Collection. Our projects cover a wide range of domains, including healthcare, physics, coding, and many more. We work with language and audio data to support the development and improvement of next-generation AI and LLM systems.

About the Project

We are currently building a UK English audio dataset focused on a range of regional English accents. We are looking for individuals who naturally speak one of the specified UK English regional varieties and can participate in remote audio recording activities.

Regional varieties currently required:

  • UK English – Midlands
  • UK English – Welsh
  • UK English – Irish
  • UK English – Liverpool
  • UK English – Geordie
  • UK English – Cockney
  • UK English – London
  • UK English – Scottish

What We’re Looking For

  • Natural, authentic speech associated with one of the listed regional varieties
  • Strong spoken English communication skills
  • Clear and consistent voice recording
  • Comfortable reading and recording provided scripts
  • Ability to follow audio recording guidelines and instructions
  • Good attention to detail and consistency
  • Access to a quiet environment suitable for recording
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Previous voice recording, audio, transcription, or AI-data experience is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
