About WOMAD

For more than four decades, WOMAD has brought people together through music, culture, creativity and discovery. Founded on the belief that cultural exchange can broaden perspectives and create meaningful human connection, WOMAD has become one of the world's most celebrated cultural festivals, welcoming artists and audiences from across the globe. As part of the wider Real World Group, founded by Peter Gabriel, WOMAD combines a rich legacy with an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to shaping the future of cultural experiences.

Following its successful move to Neston Park, WOMAD enters an exciting new chapter. With strong foundations in place, the festival is focused on securing long-term sustainability, growing audiences, strengthening partnerships and ensuring it remains culturally relevant, creatively ambitious and financially resilient for generations to come.

About the Role

We are now seeking an exceptional Festival Director to lead WOMAD UK through this next phase of development. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of Real World Group and working closely with the WOMAD Board and key stakeholders, including Peter Gabriel, this is a rare opportunity to shape the future of one of the world's most respected cultural festivals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
