How You Can Make An Impact
In this role, you help ensure that customers can rely on Eppendorf products when it matters most. By carrying out technical service activities, maintenance, and repairs on customer sites and in-house, you deliver a professional, responsive service experience. Your technical expertise, accurate documentation, and proactive communication support safe, efficient laboratory operations and high customer satisfaction across the UK and Ireland.
- Consistently and accurately perform technical service activities for the Eppendorf product group assigned to you
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on customer sites and in-house
- Maintain direct communication with customers throughout each service job
- Complete service reports, documentation, and CRM records accurately and on time
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of assigned Eppendorf products using the training tools provided
- Manage spare parts stock at the levels indicated by the Service Manager, and travel flexibly across the UK and Ireland, including occasional overnight stays at short notice

What Sets You Apart
- You have a strong technical background and education, with at least three years of experience in a similar field service or technical service position.
- You bring knowledge of the repair and maintenance of laboratory, medical, or hospital equipment, and you are confident diagnosing and resolving technical issues in customer-facing environments.
- You are proficient in MS Office and complete service reports, documentation, and administrative tasks accurately and reliably.
- You hold a valid UK driving licence and are flexible to travel to multiple site locations across the UK and Ireland, including overnight stays when required.
- You communicate effectively, demonstrate a professional attitude, and put the customer first in every interaction.
