About the Role
We are recruiting for a medium global listed technology business based near to Uxbridge. This is a fabulous role for an aspiring Finance Director or Group Controller stepping up into work for a new Group CFO that I know very well. This individual will be responsible for the UK and have a finance team of approximately 20 people underneath them. The role will pay £100-120k basic + 20% Bonus + benefits. This is a proper full P&L responsible role.
Responsibilities
- Business partnering with all of the UK Divisional heads
- Lots of analysis, slicing and dicing management information, investment appraisals, 3 and 5 year plans
- Exposure to the Group board
- Technically competent with statutory accounting and sometimes covering for the Group Controller, so experience within consolidations is helpful
- Supervising the billings team, covering the full sales cycle
- Adding value to current processes and procedures and the full finance operations team
- Assisting with any global M&A and helping the Group CFO with any investor information for the London market requirements

- Ideally an ACA/CA qualified accountant, probably trained in the Big 4, then moved into industry in a senior manager position, managing a sizeable team
- The client will also look at a strong ACCA/CIMA, as long as the individual has a 2:1 degree or above
