UK Finance Manager
Avia Technique, part of the SK AeroSafety Group
Location: Wokingham, Berkshire (with support across Wokingham & Witham sites)
Position Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £56,500-£63,000 per annum

Avia Technique specialise in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of critical aircraft safety and interior components. As part of the SK AeroSafety Group, we support airlines and aviation operators worldwide, helping to ensure safety, reliability and exceptional service across the global aviation industry.
We're now seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial and commercial success of a growing aerospace business.
About the Role
Reporting to the VP Finance UK, you will lead the finance function for Avia Technique's UK operations, providing financial leadership, commercial insight and strategic support to operational management.
This is far more than a traditional finance role. You will act as a trusted business partner to site leadership, helping drive profitability, improve operational performance and support key business decisions that enable sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring strong governance and compliance.
- Deliver accurate management accounts, budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
- Partner with operational leaders to improve business performance and profitability.
- Provide commercial analysis on sales, margins, pricing, customer performance and operational metrics.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital performance.
- Oversee statutory reporting, audits, VAT returns and regulatory compliance.
- Support investment decisions, business cases and resource planning activities.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and reporting.
- Work closely with Operations, Sales, HR and Shared Service teams to achieve business objectives.

Person Profile
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical finance expertise with commercial awareness, curiosity and the confidence to challenge and influence.
Essential Requirements
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified (finalists will also be considered).
- 4-5 years' experience in a similar Finance Manager or senior finance position.
- Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas and data analysis.
- Experience working with integrated ERP systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build relationships with operational teams and senior leaders.
- Self-motivated, proactive and results focused.
- Commercially astute with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
