About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Senior Associate to broaden their experience in this varied role, supporting multiple Finance teams as we implement a new ERP system. You will be at the forefront of departmental change, playing a pivotal role in the ERP conversion project, specifically focusing on project delivery, testing, and process remediation.
We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with an accounting or risk background who is comfortable navigating the complexities of a large-scale program for ERP modernization. You will be expected to leverage a strong "risk and controls" mindset to ensure the integrity of our financial workflows and be able to work to deadlines for the successful execution of critical project milestones. While primarily embedded in the Accounting team, you will also partner with teams across the broader Finance department to ensure holistic project success.
What You’ll Do
- Testing Coverage & Assurance: Testing co-ordination and delivery, ensuring full process coverage and accuracy of financial workflows within the new environment.
- Risk & Control Framework Management: Drive the documentation and testing of the Finance team’s updated control suite and risk artifacts.
- Operational Readiness Coordination: Manage the delivery of project-specific improvements and remediations, balancing competing priorities in readiness for go-live.
- Finance team support: Support the team to deliver month end close and reporting tasks during critical project phases to ensure a seamless transition.
The Skills And Experience You Need
- A solid background in Accounting processes, and the ability to quickly get up to speed with multiple finance systems. Previous experience with Workday ERP is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in identifying financial risks and implementing or testing internal controls within a complex corporate environment.
- Experience in finance projects, ability to operate in "grey spaces," demonstrating dynamic problem-solving and transparent communication when managing conflicting deadlines.
- A team player who can work independently or collaboratively to build strong relationships across the department, including with offshore teams.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail and the initiative to manage your own time effectively at a fast pace across multiple high-priority tasks.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
