UK General Manager (Oxford, UK)
Are you a commercial leader ready to own and scale a growing B2B & D2C business in the UK and Europe?
The Opportunity
We are looking for an ambitious UK General Manager to run our UK operations from our Oxford office. You will own revenue growth, lead key teams, and build out our B2B commercial footprint, driving sales through direct retail partners alongside international distributors.
This isn't a role where you need to reinvent the wheel. We already have an established strategy, operational playbook, and a performing distributed team across Operations (incl. Supply Chain and Logistics), Product, Finance, Marketing, and Sales.
Your goal? Take true ownership of the UK market, bring operational discipline to our systems, and scale what is already working via ‘Feed the Winners’.
About
Oxford Biolabs is a science-led health & beauty company founded by a former Oxford University scientist. Our flagship brand, TRX2®, is a clinically-tested hair health supplement sold globally through Shopify, Amazon, direct retail partners (such as small independent online retailers, clinics, and hybrids), and international distributors — and we're expanding into the broader longevity and healthy-ageing space.
What You'll Own
1. Commercial & Revenue Growth (B2B & D2C)
- Personally originate and close new B2B accounts, direct retail partners (including small independent online retailers, clinics, and hybrids across key markets like the UK and Ukraine), and international distributor deals via our established target listing process and sales systems.
- Lead and coach our SDR team (~4 remote) to hit outbound targets, execute pipeline outreach, and manage sales conversations (list building, business intelligence, and CRM infrastructure are managed by the Head of Digital & Marketing).
- Oversee D2C channels (Shopify & Amazon) by holding the Digital & Marketing team accountable for key metrics.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: While the Product Development and Commercial leads report to the GM, they are senior team members (10+ years with the company) who operate with a high degree of autonomy. The GM provides strategic alignment, ensures strong accountability, and guides execution rather than micromanaging.
- Full UK P&L responsibility with direct budget authority within board limits.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We're Looking For
- Proven B2B Dealmaker: Track record of personally originating and closing significant revenue across direct retail partners and international distributor deals.
- P&L Ownership: Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and driving profitability.
- Team Leadership: Strong management and coaching experience across remote, distributed sales and marketing teams.
- Autonomous & Self-Directed: Comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy and self-directed ownership rather than close oversight in a small, fully distributed/remote team.

- E-Commerce Savvy: Solid understanding of Shopify and Amazon growth strategies.
- AI-Augmented Leadership: Hands-on proficiency with modern AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and platform-native AI in tools like HubSpot and Shopify) to accelerate research, streamline reporting, and analyze performance data — with the adaptability to rapidly embrace new AI capabilities as they emerge to drive business growth.
- Oxford-based: Ability to work on-site in Oxford, UK.
