About the role
At Infinite Lambda, analytics engineers turn vast amounts of data into insightful, easy-to-use, automated business intelligence reports. They work closely with both the internal team of engineers and our partners’ projects teams to deliver reports that empower business owners to make better and more informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data models, transformations, and ELT/ETL processes using tools like dbt, Snowflake, and Fivetran.
- Develop insightful BI reports and dashboards in tools such as Omni, Looker, Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver data solutions that enhance decision-making.
- Maintain version control with Git and ensure data pipelines are efficient, scalable, and reliable.
- Troubleshoot data issues, optimize queries, and automate reporting workflows.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing and best practices within the team.

Requirements
This role involves serious responsibilities to both our clients and our teams. This is why the suitable applicant needs to have a specific skill set as well as considerable experience.
- Working Arrangement: Hybrid, with on-site presence required at the client's office.
- Level: Middle
Must-Have Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling and transformation (e.g. dbt, dimensional modeling, Data Vault).
- Strong understanding of ELT/ETL processes.
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
- Experience building BI reports in tools such as Omni, Looker, Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI.
- Practical experience with dbt, Snowflake, and Fivetran.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Soft Skills
- Comfortable thriving in a distributed, agile team environment.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating across time zones.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach, no micromanagement needed.
- Passion for high-quality work and continuous learning.
Interview process
- Intro call with TABP: 45 minutes
- TPF (Technical Progression Framework) Interview with Engineering Team: 90 minutes
- Cultural Chat: 45 minutes
