Role Description
The UK & Ire Business Development Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in the United Kingdom, with a mix of on-site client visits and work from home. In this role, the manager identifies and develops new business opportunities across the UK and Ireland, targeting key sectors such as logistics, retail, manufacturing, and healthcare.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Prospecting and qualifying leads
- Conducting product presentations and demonstrations
- Preparing proposals
- Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure
- Nurturing relationships with existing partners and customers
- Analyzing market trends and competitors
- Collaborating with technical and product teams to tailor solutions to client needs
- Maintaining accurate sales forecasts
- Preparing regular performance reports
- Representing Urovo at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and negotiation.
- Experience in solution selling of technology, hardware, or enterprise mobility products, ideally in B2B environments.
- Knowledge of mobility, data capture, payment terminals, or related industry solutions, with the ability to understand client workflows.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships.
- Proven ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, manage time effectively, and meet or exceed commercial targets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and basic analytics or reporting tools to track opportunities and performance.
- Relevant experience in the UK and Irish markets; background in logistics, retail, manufacturing, or healthcare is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Valid right to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland as required.
