Help shape iData’s growth across the UK and Ireland

We’re looking for an ambitious, experienced AIDC sales professional to develop our reseller network, win end-user opportunities and grow profitable business across the territory.

Working directly alongside the UK Managing Director & Founder, you’ll join at an early stage of our local growth, with backing from iData’s global manufacturing business and an established commercial and distribution structure.

About iData in the UK and Ireland

iData’s UK and Ireland business is built on an exclusive partnership between Access IT and iData, the global manufacturer. Through this partnership, we are growing iData’s presence across the region, working closely with resellers, solution providers and end users to deliver enterprise data-capture and rugged mobility solutions.

We combine iData’s global technology and manufacturing expertise with dedicated local commercial support, UK stock, service and technical support, and established distribution through Ingram Micro. Our focus is on building lasting partnerships, creating opportunities together and becoming a trusted advisor to the partners and customers we serve.

What you’ll do

  • Own and execute the UK and Ireland territory plan, achieving agreed revenue, gross margin and new-business targets.
  • Develop existing reseller relationships and identify, recruit and support new partners.
  • Create joint business plans with partners that generate qualified opportunities and measurable sales growth.
  • Build relationships with independent software vendors (ISVs), systems integrators and specialist solution providers.
  • Identify end-user opportunities and work alongside channel partners to develop and deliver complete customer solutions.
  • Understand customer workflows and position iData solutions around productivity, accuracy, reliability and total cost of ownership.
  • Manage the sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through demonstrations, trials, proposals, negotiation and order.
  • Coordinate technical specialists, software partners and manufacturer resources to support evaluations and deployment planning.
  • Work closely with Ingram Micro on partner onboarding, quotations, product availability and fulfilment.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, account plans, qualified pipeline and realistic sales forecasts.
  • Deliver responsive customer service, take ownership of follow-up and coordinate the timely resolution of issues.
  • Represent iData at customer meetings, partner events, exhibitions and industry networking opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You’ll bring:

Experience across Ireland, RFID and fixed industrial scanning would be an additional advantage.

Technical expertise and complete solution selling

You’ll bring the technical understanding to move beyond individual devices and develop complete solutions around the customer’s operations, software and business objectives.

You’ll need:

  • Strong understanding of how mobile computers, barcode scanning, connectivity, device management and application software work together, with an understanding of where RFID can add value.
  • Experience assessing end-user workflows, identifying operational challenges and translating requirements into practical solutions.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management, ERP, retail and field-service applications, including integration requirements.
  • Experience bringing together ISVs, systems integrators and specialist partners to deliver a complete customer solution.
  • The ability to identify gaps in a proposed solution, select appropriate partners and coordinate their involvement throughout the sales cycle.
  • Confidence leading solution discussions, demonstrations and proof-of-concept trials alongside technical specialists.
  • The ability to explain technical requirements and commercial benefits clearly to IT, operations and procurement teams.
