About the Role

The UK Legislation Editorial Quality Lead supports the delivery of quality standards for statutory and regulatory content across the UK and Ireland. Working closely with Editorial, Product, and Technology teams, you will help ensure content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with an online-first publishing approach. This role contributes to quality improvement initiatives, supports the adoption of AI-enabled workflows, and helps maintain effective editorial processes that deliver value to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the implementation of quality initiatives across the UK and Ireland, helping to align regional practices with global standards and business objectives.
  • Assist in developing and updating quality controls, checklists, and guidance materials.
  • Conduct routine reviews and quality checks to support content accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor quality metrics and review audit findings, customer feedback, and error trends.
  • Help identify areas for improvement and support corrective actions where needed.
  • Work with Product and Technology teams to help implement AI-supported quality tools and maintain quality checkpoints within digital publishing workflows.
  • Partner with local and global teams to share best practices, improve processes, and support editorial quality objectives.
  • Assist with training activities, documentation, and reporting related to quality standards, audit processes, editorial tools, and improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Law degree or equivalent highly desirable
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in legal editorial roles with a strong
  • Experience in legal editorial, publishing, content quality, or compliance-related roles.
  • Experience applying quality standards and participating in audit or review processes.
  • General understanding of digital publishing workflows and emerging AI technologies.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, XML, or similar publishing technologies.
  • Experience working with quality metrics and analysing data to identify trends.
  • Understanding of legislative or regulatory content.
