Logistics Network Development Manager (9 Month Fixed Term Contract)
Kegworth, Derby Head Office based, with travel to our other UK sites.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Logistics Network Development Manager to join our UK Supply Chain team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Head of Logistics & Customer Service, you will play a key role in identifying, shaping and delivering strategic projects that improve the performance, efficiency and cost competitiveness of the Refresco UK supply chain.
This is a highly project-focused role where you will lead multiple initiatives across logistics, warehousing and supply chain operations. From warehouse automation and network optimisation to continuous improvement and cost-saving programmes, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver tangible results and support Refresco's future growth.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and influencer, capable of leading projects through collaboration and stakeholder engagement, whilst delivering complex programmes on time, within budget and to agreed objectives.

Key Accountabilities
- Deliver the Refresco UK warehouse automation roadmap.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings that increase EBITDA.
- Lead and deliver strategic logistics and supply chain projects across the UK network.
- Develop and maintain the UK Supply Chain improvement roadmap, driving year-on-year efficiency savings.
- Define project scope, timelines, budgets and resource requirements.
- Engage key stakeholders to obtain, retain and manage the resources required for successful project delivery.
- Manage project risks, dependencies and barriers, escalating where appropriate.
- Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders on project progress, decisions and performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehousing, logistics and customer service functions.
- Support wider Refresco Group initiatives and ensure effective implementation within the UK business.
About You
The ideal candidate will have proven project leadership experience, ideally supported by formal Project Management qualifications or significant relevant experience. They will bring strong Supply Chain and Logistics expertise, preferably gained within an FMCG, manufacturing or distribution environment, alongside a proven track record of delivering business improvement and cost reduction initiatives. A confident communicator and influencer, they will be capable of leading projects and driving change without direct line management responsibility. The successful candidate will possess excellent stakeholder management, relationship-building, planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated and results-driven, they will have a flexible approach, a passion for continuous improvement and a collaborative style, with the ability to engage, motivate and bring others on the journey to successful project delivery.
