UK Operational Compliance Manager
An exciting and rare opportunity has now become available for a UK Operational Compliance Manager to join our Head Office Team!
Reporting to the Site Operations Director, the UK Operational Compliance Manager (OCM) is responsible for overseeing operational compliance across multiple UK sites, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and quality standards.
The role supports operational efficiency, process compliance, and continuous improvement by providing oversight, mentoring, and guidance to site teams. The OCM ensures effective implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS), supports audit readiness, monitors quality issues (QIs), and drives corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to resolution.
The post holder will work closely with Site Operations leadership, functional heads, and study teams to maintain compliance with GxP, ICH-GCP, and applicable regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the operational quality and compliance framework across UK sites.
- Conduct regular Operational Compliance Checks across all sites and produce reports with findings and recommendations.
- Produce quarterly operational compliance plans and monthly performance reports for senior leadership.
- Identify compliance performance metrics and present meaningful data insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure sites remain inspection ready at all times.
- Lead and support preparation for internal audits, sponsor audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Provide site readiness assessments and ensure corrective actions are implemented prior to inspection.
- Support audit responses and follow-up actions.
