UK Product Manager - Aviation Fuel
Location: Stanlow Manufacturing Complex, Ellesmere Port
Employment Type: Site Based Full Time Role, 5 days per week, Monday-Friday

About the Company
EET (Essar Energy Transition) vision is to be the leading producer of low carbon fuels and establish a blueprint energy transition hub in the North West. EET plays a major role in supplying the Northwest and the wider UK with essential fuels. We produce over 16% of the UK’s road transport fuels, supply key feedstocks to the petrochemical industry, and are investing heavily in low-carbon energy solutions.
We work with major retail fuel brands, supermarkets, Manchester Airport, leading airlines, and regional transport operators. We are also a key partner in the HyNet project, helping to deliver the region’s low-carbon future.

About the Role
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for shaping the commercial strategy, growth, and profitability of our Aviation Fuels portfolio. Working closely with airlines, airport operators, supply partners, and internal stakeholders, you will identify market opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and drive commercial performance across a strategically important area of the business. This role offers the opportunity to influence the future of aviation fuels while supporting customers through an evolving energy landscape and advancing sustainable growth.
You will:
- Develop and implement the Aviation Fuels product strategy to support growth, profitability, and customer retention.
- Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with airlines, airports, into-plane operators, and key customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and emerging aviation markets.
- Monitor aviation market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity to inform commercial decisions.
- Lead commercial negotiations and customer account reviews, ensuring value is delivered for both customers and the business.
- Work closely with Supply, Logistics, and Operations teams to ensure reliable product availability and service delivery.
- Support the development and implementation of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) opportunities and future growth initiatives.
- Develop business cases and strategic recommendations to support investment and market expansion opportunities.
- Manage portfolio performance against agreed commercial objectives and key performance indicators.
- Represent the business at key industry events and customer forums where appropriate.

About You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Significant commercial experience within aviation fuels, aviation, energy, commodities, or a related sector.
- A strong understanding of aviation fuel markets, customer requirements, and supply chain dynamics.
- Experience managing complex customer relationships and negotiating commercial agreements.
- A proven track record of delivering commercial growth and business development opportunities.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer needs and business objectives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, supported by a data-driven approach.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility at all levels.
- Experience developing and implementing commercial strategies in a competitive market environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
