UK Retirement Data Solutions Consultant
Do you have the skills needed to advise on significant pensions data cleanse projects?
We are looking for a driven individual to join our Data Solutions Team, within Aon’s UK Retirement business. This team brings together specialists from across our business to deliver data project work for clients.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from one of our UK offices.

What the day will look like
- Providing subject matter expertise on data projects, such as GMP reconciliation and settlement-driven cleanse exercises
- Consulting with clients on these projects, to help them set strategy and make decisions
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, including client teams and other specialist teams
- Overseeing the implementation of cleanse strategies – determining the best way of approaching these, ensuring they are running smoothly, and solving any problems that emerge
- Developing others in the team
- Leading or inputting into process improvement activities
- Working with wider management to meet our business objectives

How this opportunity is different
As a Data Solutions Consultant, you will get the opportunity to interact with a wide range of colleagues and teams within the UK Retirement business. You’ll join a team near the start of its journey and have a significant influence on its direction and impact.
Your delivery will directly contribute to the ‘Aon Story’. Having a strong network of colleagues for support is pivotal for your individual development, and your network of colleagues will naturally increase rapidly from day one.
Individual development within the role will be fast-paced, with new and interesting challenges presenting themselves through changes in pensions legislation and industry initiatives.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Be proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to own and deliver the best solutions for Aon
- Be willing to improve processes and adapt to change
- Have experience and subject matter expertise of data cleanse projects, such as GMP rectification, re-tranching projects, and buy-in to buy-out data work
- Have strong communication skills and experience leading client meetings
- Have strong time-management skills, able to prioritise and manage several projects
- Ability to identify project risks/issues, and work with internal stakeholders to mitigate these
