Job Purpose

The Marketing Intern supports the UK & ROI Parts & Service Marketing team in the day-to-day administration, communication and coordination of marketing activities across the dealer network.

Working closely with the Field Marketing Specialists and Marketing Lead, the role provides support across dealer communications, newsletters, dealer portal management, shared mailbox administration, merchandise enquiries and wider marketing administration activities.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Communications Support

  • Support the preparation and distribution of weekly, monthly and ad-hoc dealer communications.
  • Assist in the production, formatting and deployment of newsletters, bulletins and communication materials for the UK & ROI dealer network.
  • Support the Field Marketing Specialist with the deployment of marketing communications across all relevant channels.
  • Maintain communication templates, mailing lists and supporting communication assets.
  • Assist with proofreading communications to ensure consistency, accuracy and brand compliance.
  • Support the preparation of internal marketing updates and team communications where required.

Dealer Portal and Content Administration

  • Maintain and update content on the Dealer Portal to ensure information remains current, accurate and accessible.
  • Upload approved marketing materials, bulletins, promotional information and supporting documentation to relevant platforms.
  • Ensure dealer-facing content is updated in line with guidance provided by the Field Marketing Specialist and Marketing Lead.
  • Support periodic reviews of dealer-facing content to ensure information remains relevant and current.

Shared Mailbox and Workflow Administration

  • Manage the Parts & Service Marketing shared mailbox on a day-to-day basis.
  • Monitor incoming enquiries and route requests to the appropriate team member.
  • Maintain team workflow trackers, communication logs and administration files to support project delivery and communication activities.
  • Ensure marketing requests are logged, tracked and progressed in accordance with agreed processes.

Merchandise and Dealer Enquiry Support

  • Act as the first point of contact for merchandise and promotional item enquiries.
  • Coordinate requests relating to marketing merchandise and promotional materials.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding stock availability, delivery status and order queries where required.
  • Escalate complex enquiries to the Field Marketing Specialists or Marketing Lead as appropriate.
  • Maintain merchandise records and support inventory tracking activities where required.

Marketing Team Administrative Support

  • Provide general administrative support to the Marketing Lead and Field Marketing Specialists.
  • Support event/meeting administration activities, including registrations, attendee communications and logistics support.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required by the wider Parts & Service Marketing team.

Experience Required

  • Studying towards, or recently completed, a qualification in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Interest in marketing, communications and customer engagement.
  • Experience with digital content management, newsletters or communications platforms would be beneficial.
  • Experience using creative or design software would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
