We are looking for a Sales Director to join our team in London!

The Purpose - why the role exists

The Sales Director is the most senior Bueno team member based in the UK. They are a commercially driven professional that is responsible for all sales and account management activity in Europe across both direct clients and partner channels. They provide overall leadership to the whole European Bueno team.

This is a senior, hands-on sales role that is responsible for delivering an individual sales target while providing leadership and support to the broader team. An important part of the role is managing the governance, standardisation and continuous improvement of sales enablement processes and documentation.

This position requires exceptional commercial acumen, leadership, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to clearly position Bueno’s solutions in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

The Goal - what does success look like

  • A scalable, repeatable commercial engine that ensures European sales and revenue targets are achieved without relying on “hero” sales.
  • Forecasting the business can trust with commercial indicators that support decision making and identify risks early.
  • A capable, motivated European team that's growing and improving.
  • Market feedback that is credible and articulated in a way that allows other functions (product, marketing etc) to make evidence-based prioritisation and investment decisions.

The Key Responsibilities - what you do every day

Sales & Pipeline Development

  • Execute against team and individual sales and revenue targets.
  • Identify key target markets and segments where Bueno can derive significant value by aligning target business needs with Bueno's capabilities.
  • Originate and qualify leads through senior-level networking, targeted outreach, and sales development activities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial engagement through solution design, commercial negotiation, contract execution and handover to delivery.
  • Maintain pipeline discipline, ensuring accurate CRM records, forecasting, and reporting of sales progress for all European sales activity.

Sales Enablement & Support

  • Provide mentorship and support to the European business development team, including assistance with stakeholder mapping, strategic positioning, and proposal coordination.
  • Oversee and direct the end to end RFP response and proposal process for strategic deals. Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to create high-quality, comprehensive tender submissions for complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
  • Ensure adherence to standard processes and governance requirements.
  • Direct the continuous improvement of sales processes and documentation, with the aim of improving the quality and win rate of tender responses and proposals.

Internal Collaboration & Leadership

  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth post-sale implementation and ongoing service excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure Bueno’s value proposition is consistently delivered.
  • Represent client and market feedback to internal product and leadership teams to support the alignment of Bueno’s solutions with market opportunities.
