Experience

  • At least 5-8 years’ sales experience working in a large IT company of which 3-5 plus years experience at a management level.
  • Revenue Growth: Lead sales teams to hit targets for cloud, security, and connectivity solutions.
  • Account Management: Oversee large multinational enterprise accounts and complex global contracts.
  • Strategy Execution: Drive local or regional sales execution aligned with corporate integrator models.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor account managers, pre-sales, and business development managers
  • Previous or existing experience in generating New Logo / Business Development as a single contributor would be beneficial. Mentor BDM's / guide on closing deals.
  • At least 10 years’ experience IT Services or Telecommunications
  • Responsibility for over €100m of existing revenues and a team of 15+ people.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting of the future order book
  • Implement an optimum ‘Go To Market’ Segmentation model
  • You will have the freedom to set the sales strategy of the UK
  • Build a high-performing team around you.
  • Drive sales to new customers
  • Leadership skills and the ability to develop a sales culture
  • Set targets and ensure growth at a level above the local market growth rate.
  • Ensure optimum allocation of resources to existing and new targeted customers, utilizing appropriate qualification sales tools and processes.
  • Direct forecasting and pipeline activities in line with corporate reporting standards.
  • Monitor and support individuals in their creation of sales plans and activities.
  • Meet with key clients, assist Sales and Business Development staff with the development and maintenance of relationships
  • Run regular pipeline, qualification, and account reviews with all sales staff.
  • Create a pipeline of sales talent for future employment opportunities to support our growth strategy.
  • Coach and mentor team members towards their personal and professional goals.
  • Support the negotiation of multi-million euro contracts for long-term managed services
  • Strategic and hands-on understanding of the ICT industry in the UK
  • Proven experience in building a performant sales team.
  • Hands-on experience and successful track record, and in-depth knowledge of how to develop opportunities aimed at multi-national companies.
  • Capable of adapting their sales strategy to reach out to a wide variety of customers.
  • Work in multi-national teams with the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and customers from all over the world
