Be the person who builds AndromedAI in the UK.
AI-driven commerce is growing at triple-digit year-over-year rates, and by 2030, AI agents are expected to orchestrate $3–5 trillion in commerce. They will increasingly decide which products to surface, recommend, and purchase on behalf of consumers, based on the product data and content they can access.
AndromedAI helps eCommerce brands get their catalogues ready for this shift by creating, localising, and continuously optimising product content for both traditional search and AI-driven discovery.
We call this Agentic Commerce Optimization (ACO), and we’re building the category leader in Europe.
The Role
This is a player-coach role. For the first 2 to 3 quarters you carry a personal number and close deals yourself, building the playbook by running it. As pipeline grows, you hire and lead a small UK team (an AE and an SDR to start) and move from solo selling to running the whole UK go-to-market.
You sell to eCommerce Managers, Heads of eCommerce, Heads of Digital, Digital Directors and CMOs at mid-market and enterprise retailers and brands. Deals are consultative, multi-threaded and evidence-driven, and usually involve marketing, IT, procurement and an SEO or performance lead. You qualify and forecast with MEDDIC.
You report to the Head of Sales and work with a lot of autonomy. We give you the product, the data, the case studies and fast answers.
What You’ll Own
Revenue
- Own the UK business: build, forecast and deliver against an annual new-business target, with monthly and quarterly commitments you can stand behind.
- Qualify and forecast every opportunity using MEDDIC.
- Personally source, run and close mid-market and enterprise deals from first conversation to signature in the first phase of the role.
- Build and maintain pipeline coverage through a mix of your own network, outbound, partners and inbound from events.
Stakeholders & Negotiation
- Multi-thread across the buying committee: eCommerce Manager and Head of Digital as your core sponsors, plus SEO/performance leads, IT and data teams, legal and procurement.
- Identify and develop the Buyer early, and coach an internal Champion to sell for you when you are not in the room.
- Lead commercial negotiations end to end: pricing, catalogue-volume tiers, pilot-to-rollout terms, and procurement pushback protecting margin rather than discounting to close.
- Run structured pilots and proof-of-value engagements with clear success metrics agreed up front, and convert them into annual contracts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Market & Network
- Bring and actively work your existing UK eCommerce network: brands, retailers, marketplaces, agencies, platform partners (Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce) and the SEO/CRO ecosystem.
- Represent AndromedAI at UK and European eCommerce events and communities, and generate inbound.
- Feed market insight back into the company: pricing signals, competitive moves, feature gaps and the GEO/agentic-commerce questions UK buyers are asking.
Team Leadership
- Hire your first UK team within the first year: you define the profiles, run the process and make hiring decisions together with the team.
- Onboard, coach and manage your team: 1:1s, deal reviews, call coaching, ramp plans and performance management.
- Codify what works into a scalable UK playbook: ICP definition, discovery framework, objection handling, business-case templates and MEDDIC discipline, so the second hire ramps faster than the first.
Operating Autonomously
- Set your own weekly and quarterly priorities and hold yourself to them without being asked.
- Keep CRM hygiene and forecast accuracy to ensure outputs are reliable and dependable.
- Communicate proactively and asynchronously across time zones.
- Escalate early, particularly when you need product, legal or executive air cover.
