Soil Capital
Soil Capital is on a mission to regenerate over 10 million hectares of land by 2030, addressing our environmental and food security challenges through regenerative and low-carbon agriculture. As a leading expert in this field, we have developed the first payment for ecosystem services program for farmers in Europe.
Through our certified programme and our platform, Soil Capital leads the food and agriculture sector transformation by engaging with blue chip organisations who seek to deliver on their environmental commitments and build supply chain resilience. These businesses purchase regenerative units, acting as an incentive for farmers to measure and improve their agricultural practices.
Our technology supports farmers by allowing them to efficiently and accurately measure farming practices, as well as the GHG balance of their farm which we then audit and certify to generate certificates. This helps farmers understand the levers to accelerate their adoption of regenerative practices.
In the past ten years, Soil Capital has established itself as a thought leader and a driver of change at scale in France, the U.K. and Belgium. Pursuing its ambitious growth trajectory, it is now expanding geographical and product scopes.
Role Purpose
We are looking for a UK Sales Manager to drive the development of our UK commercial activities within the Agri-food value chain and around it (water, financial services, etc).
This is a hybrid role combining new business sales and hands-on account management, with a strong on-the-ground presence.
You will be responsible for signing new commercial partnerships with UK merchants, traders, cooperatives and CPG corporates, while also managing and growing existing accounts through close field engagement, including launching and running local programmes.
This role requires strong commercial acumen, relationship-building skills, and a solid understanding of UK agriculture.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
