Maison Bernard Magrez, one of Bordeaux’s leading wine groups, is looking for an experienced UK Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to strengthen and complement its existing team in the United Kingdom.
With a portfolio including prestigious Bordeaux estates such as Château Pape Clément – Grand Cru Classé de Graves, Château La Tour Carnet – Grand Cru Classé de Médoc, Château Fombrauge – Grand Cru Classé de Saint-Émilion, as well as a wide range of premium and exclusive wines, Maison Bernard Magrez is accelerating its commercial development in the UK market.
Your mission
Working closely with our existing UK team and our headquarters in Bordeaux, your main responsibility will be to develop sales, expand our customer base and strengthen the presence of Bernard Magrez wines throughout the UK.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Prospecting and developing new accounts across the UK;
- Managing and developing relationships with existing customers and partners;
- Building business with importers, distributors, wholesalers, independent wine merchants, restaurants, hotels, private clubs, national and regional accounts and other relevant channels;
- Identifying new commercial opportunities for our Grands Crus Classés, premium wines and exclusive ranges;
- Organizing regular customer visits, tastings, presentations and commercial events;
- Following up on listings, orders, stock levels and sales performance;
- Providing regular and structured reporting on customers, prospects, opportunities, orders and next actions;
- Monitoring the UK wine market, competitors, pricing and distribution opportunities;
- Working closely with the Bordeaux team to implement the Group’s commercial strategy in the UK.

Your profile
We are looking for a highly commercial and results-oriented professional with:
- Proven sales experience (at least 5 years) in the UK wine industry;
- A strong understanding of the UK wine distribution and hospitality markets;
- An existing network of wine buyers, importers, distributors, merchants, restaurants or key accounts would be a major advantage;
- Strong knowledge of Bordeaux and premium wines;
- Excellent prospecting, negotiation and relationship-building skills;
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to develop business independently;
- Strong organisational skills and a clear focus on measurable commercial results;
- Fluent English; French would be an advantage but is not essential;
- Availability to travel regularly throughout the UK and occasionally to Bordeaux;
- The legal right to work in the United Kingdom.

What we offer
This is an opportunity to join an internationally recognised Bordeaux wine group and to play an active role in the expansion of Maison Bernard Magrez in one of its strategic export markets.
The successful candidate will have access to a broad and distinctive portfolio, ranging from prestigious Grands Crus Classés to innovative and exclusive wines, supported by our commercial and marketing teams in Bordeaux.
Location: United Kingdom – ideally London / South East, with regular travel throughout the UK
Start date: As soon as possible
Contract & remuneration: Depending on profile and experience
